Consultant, Roland Kemp, attended IDLS to meet with members of the Tactical Data Link (TDL) community. The symposium provided the opportunity to hear more about key themes and challenges for those working in the TDL arena such as Block Upgrade 2 for all types of Multifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS) terminals, TDL standards and gateway building.
Mark Hudspeth joined other delegates for another insightful and productive symposium.
TCF is one of the only events globally which provides members of the entire Tactical Communications community with a unique and productive environment for discussion. We supported the event through various presentations and our representatives contributed to discussions.
We met with members of the Tactical Data Link (TDL) community at the recent NTDLS event. Mark Hudspeth represented SyntheSys and delivered a brief titled ‘Interoperability Testing – an exploration of different ways of leveraging the benefits of your test equipment’.

SyntheSys and IBM® are helping teams effectively manage the complexities of developing smart, connected products by using powerful tools to enhance and support the systems and software development life cycle. In the cloud or on-premises, IBM Watson Internet of Things (IBM Watson IoT™) solutions help Systems Engineers and Software Developers to deliver against requirements, respond efficiently to change and create high-quality designs faster - all whilst controlling development costs and meeting compliance needs.
We are thrilled to be collaborating with IBM® to deliver a 1-hour technical webinar which will give delegates an overview of the toolset whilst informing on best practices for the industry. This webinar presents the case around why and how organisations should manage requirements, govern change and test extensively when developing smart products.
