As part of our ongoing engagement with the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) community, we are thrilled to be exhibiting at this year’s ASEC which is the UK’s premier Systems Engineering event, attracting a wide range of industry, academic, and government professionals.

ASEC is the United Kingdom’s (UK’s) premier Systems Engineering event and this year will be exploring the theme ‘The Challenges of Contemporary Systems Engineering’.

SyntheSys has supported the NTDLS event for many years and believes the useful symposium to be a key event for NATO and partner nations involved in Tactical Data Links (TDLs).
Mark Hudspeth and Roland Kemp will be attending the 2020 symposium to meet with members of the community and are looking forward to gaining new insights.
Mark will be delivering an interesting demo which explores how TDL Test capabilities can be extended via a range of communication methods. Roland will be sharing further insights around Joint Range Extension Application Protocol (JREAP) and the intuitive Joint Range Extension (JRE) product.
SyntheSys Technologies Director, Mark Williamson, will brief at the upcoming ICONS 2020 Event, which is co-located with a range of different events as part of NexComm 2020 Congress.
The event will take place on the 23rd – 27th February in Lisbon, Portugal where Mark will be delivering as part of a special track on Widening Systems Engineering Borders (WiSEB). His presentation will discuss the merits of Model-Based Systems Engineering in Defence, which looks at how the approach minimises costs and risk within Defence programmes.
The Annual Systems Engineering Conference (ASEC) is INCOSE UK’s flagship annual event and brings together a wide range of professionals from a variety of backgrounds, with the common interest of building upon Systems Engineering knowledge and sharing ideas with their peers.

Consultant, Roland Kemp, attended IDLS to meet with members of the Tactical Data Link (TDL) community. The symposium provided the opportunity to hear more about key themes and challenges for those working in the TDL arena such as Block Upgrade 2 for all types of Multifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS) terminals, TDL standards and gateway building.
Mark Hudspeth joined other delegates for another insightful and productive symposium.
TCF is one of the only events globally which provides members of the entire Tactical Communications community with a unique and productive environment for discussion. We supported the event through various presentations and our representatives contributed to discussions.
We met with members of the Tactical Data Link (TDL) community at the recent NTDLS event. Mark Hudspeth represented SyntheSys and delivered a brief titled ‘Interoperability Testing – an exploration of different ways of leveraging the benefits of your test equipment’.
